Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has predicted the winner of the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
Sergio Aguero has thrown his weight behind Vinicius Junior's bid to win the Ballon d'Or, insisting the Brazilian winger's impressive club form outweighs his underwhelming Copa America display.
Vinicius was disappointing as Brazil crashed out in the quarter-finals of Copa America and many observers believe that should derail his bid for the prestigious honour.

Aguero backs Vinicius Junior for Ballon d'Or
"Ballon d'Or? Viní Jr. didn't disappear in Copa America. It's just that Brazil are going through a tough time and he needs a good team," Aguero said in a recent interview.
Aguero believes Vinicius Junior's exceptional season with Real Madrid, where he helped the team win LaLiga and the Champions League, makes him the deserving winner.
"I look at the whole season, and Viní had an incredible season, this season, he was better than Mbappé."
The former Argentina striker acknowledges Mbappé's superior skillset but argues that Vinicius Junior's performances this season make him the standout candidate. "It doesn't mean he's a better player than Mbappé. But this season, he was better."
Aguero also praised Jude Bellingham's contributions to Real Madrid's success.
"This season, Viní and Bellingham were key for Real Madrid, I love Bellingham and I'd rather he got the Ballon d'Or, but you have to acknowledge that Viní was widely superior this season."
Bellingham will have a chance to add the EURO 2024 trophy to his collection when England take on Spain in Berlin on Sunday evening.
