Showdown against former FKF Premier League side Zoo FC will decide fate.

In what is being hailed as the most significant game of the season, Luanda Villa is gearing up to clash with Zoo FC in a thrilling encounter that will decide the fate of promotion to the 2023/2024 National Super League (NSL).

With just two points separating the two fierce rivals, Saturday's showdown promises to be a nail-biting spectacle that will have fans at the edge of their seats.

Luanda Villa's head coach, Tom Terra, remains unwaveringly optimistic about his team's chances of securing promotion to the highly competitive NSL.

With his team currently sitting in second place, just behind Zoo Kericho, Terra emphasizes the importance of this final match.

“This is probably the most important game of the season. We urge all the fans to turn up in large numbers and support the team and be the 12th man. We are ready and will give our best to bring the cup home,” Tera said in an interview.

The atmosphere at Mumboha Grounds is expected to be electric, with the roaring support of the fans adding to the intensity on the pitch.

On his part, team manager, Auther Ominde, also echoes Terra's sentiments and is optimistic about the team's chances of making history.

“We are on the verge of making history. Let's do it together. Come this Saturday, turn up and be counted among the history makers. We are committed to succeeding, and we will,” he said.

Luanda Villa has been a formidable force in Division One for the last three seasons, but the elusive promotion to NSL has remained just out of their grasp.

If they miss out this year, it will mark their fourth consecutive year in the lower division, making this encounter all the more crucial for their aspirations.

As the battle for promotion heats up, the top eight places in Division One Zone B clash have been secured by Green Commandos, Nyota, Sigalagala, Vegpro, St. Joseph Youth, and Bungoma Super Stars.

On the other side of the spectrum, Bondo United, GDC, Kisumu Hot Stars, Kona Rangers, Mayanje Santos, Nyalenda United, and Soy United find themselves facing relegation.

The pressure is mounting for these teams as they strive to secure their place in Division One for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, the clash between Luanda Villa and Zoo Kericho has captured the attention of football enthusiasts across the country.

Both teams have shown exceptional form throughout the season, and their meeting on Saturday promises to be a spectacle filled with skill, determination, and passion.
