FUFA Big League side Lugazi FC has completed the signing of prmising attacking midfielder Alvin Birungi from Kampala region's Ntinda United Football Club.
The 19-year-old prodigy, dubbed the next big thing, is expected to bring a fresh dynamism to the team’s attacking force and elevate the overall quality of the squad.
Birungi, known for his fast-paced style and impressive skills, has committed to a three-year employment contract with Lugazi FC.
This contract will keep him with the team until at least 2026, and it includes an option to renew.

Birungi's journey to this point has been marked by and progress. A graduate of the Kampala Galaxy soccer academy, he spent five formative years at Ntinda United FC.

Birungi becomes the eighth official new signing for the team, joining a roster that includes other promising talents such as Jimmy Okiror, Abraham Opio, Solomon Okodi, Freedom Mungudit, Mubarak Mitala, Andrew Odong, and Samuel Nsubuga.
