Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) boss Moses Magogo's son, Shafiq Raiven Magogo has joined Uganda Premier League outfit Kitara FC.
The Hoima-based outfit have unveiled Magogo on a two-year employment contract, till 2025.
He joins new Kitara head coach Brian Ssenyondo, with whom he worked at UPDF FC for two years since the 2021/22 season till the most recent campaign.
"I am happy to announce that Shafiq Magogo has joined us, he's the first teenage player to be announced," club president, Deo Kasozi noted to the club media.
"Our intent this season is to have a relatively young squad and we expect others to come aboard," he added.
With UPDF last season, the 18 year-old played two Uganda Premier League games, making it three in the entirety over two years.
He has also previously played for Synergy Futsal Club, Kibuli Secondary School and Edgars Youth Program
