The Citizens made an emphatic return in the second period as Haaland breezed through the Eagles defence with a hat-trick as City won by 4-2.
3. Man City 6-3 Man United
There were sometimes uncertainties when these two sides in the city clashed in the Premier League but there no was doubt in the scoreline as Haaland and Phil Foden bagged a hat-trick in the nine-goal thriller at the Etihad.
4. Man City 2-1 Fulham
It became a difficult game when Joao Cancelo was sent off and City had to execute the remainder of the minutes with ten men. They kept their composure and won it with a stoppage time penalty scored by Haaland to earn all three points.
5. Chelsea 0-1 Man City
The master tactician Guardiola did the unthinkable to his squad when he played Rodri as a centre-back but later reversed the role of the Spanish midfielder after he was being ineffective and his side still grinded a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
