Transition and Continuity in Women's Football Management

As the current head of women's football, Polly Bancroft prepares to depart for a new role as the chief executive at League Two club Grimsby Town, Johnson's appointment becomes pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition.

Bancroft, who has played a significant role in steering the women's football program, will hand over her responsibilities to Johnson to maintain stability and effectiveness in the management of United's women's football affairs.

Johnson will officially assume his position on May 1, stepping into this role during a period of change and adaptation.
