Manchester United is certain that forcing Jadon Sancho to train alone after their disagreement with Erik Ten Hag did not violate FIFA regulations.

After publicly criticising Ten Hag on social media, Sancho was kicked out of the United fitness team and forced to work by himself.

Sancho was also denied access to any first-team facilities, such as the locker room and cafeteria, and now has to eat by himself at the team's training facility.

Man United are now confident that Ten Hag’s treatment of Sancho is in line with the FIFA regulations.

FIFA regulations

According to FIFA rules, a club that asks a player to practise alone may be deemed to have engaged in "abusive conduct," with the implication that such treatment violates the law of employment.

The Man United winger must receive a suitable level of training and physical preparation from United, and the team is satisfied that they have done so even though they make him train by himself.

However, Sancho is not being left to train himself; instead, United has hired specialised fitness experts to assist with the kid, ensuring that the level of training he receives matches the necessary standard.

Sancho and Ten Hag are still at odds, and the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has offered to arbitrate the situation as reported by the Mirror.

However, the England international's exclusion from his first-team teammates will continue until he professes his regrets to Ten Hag for openly contesting his manager's authority and undermining it with his social media post.
