Tottenham outclassed and outfought Manchester United at Old Trafford, winning 3-0 to heap pressure on Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.
Things went from bad to worse for Erik ten Hag as he watched his Manchester United side crumble at home to an unforgiving Tottenham.
Spurs burst out of the blocks, with Micky van de Ven's marauding run and pinpoint pass setting up Brennan Johnson to open the scoring in the third minute.
Spurs were clearly in the mood and Johnson nearly doubled his tally, hitting the post after another excellent counterattack.
United finally created a chance of their own when Marcus Rashford's cross found Alejandro Garnacho, whose volley crashed off the post.
Timo Werner then wasted a golden chance to increase Spurs' lead, firing tamely at Andre Onana.
The flashpoint of the game arrived just before halftime as Bruno Fernandes' reckless challenge on Maddison earned him a straight red card, compounding United's woes.
Erik ten Hag responded with two substitutions, but Spurs struck again just three minutes into the second half. Johnson's pass was deflected off De Ligt, allowing Kulusevski to score.
Onana denied Werner and Dominic Solanke with a stunning double-save, while Lisandro Martínez and Casemiro went close for United.
However, substitute Pape Matar Sarr teed up Solanke for Spurs' third in the 78th minute, sealing the win.
