Pulse Sports brings you the latest transfer rumours on major clubs and players around the world.

Manchester United and Liverpool are set to hold talks with Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

The midfielder could leave in the summer if talks with Chelsea over a contract extension do not materialize.

The representatives of the Croatian midfielder are understood to be already in London for talks with Chelsea bosses.

He is one of the players whose contracts are entering their final years with the club. Although Chelsea are said to be keen to discuss a contract extension, they are also willing to let the star leave.

The Premier League side is also looking to revamp their midfield, which means some will have to leave and others will come in.

Southampton’s Romeo Lavia has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Kone has also been rumoured to be on Chelsea’s radar.

With his experience, Kovacic could be a good addition to Liverpool and Manchester United’s sides.

Jurgen Klopp hopes to refresh his midfield, especially with the expected departure of Naby Keita.

Kovacic’s experience could also prove to be a good addition to the Red Devils squad, as he can be paired with Casemiro.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United are keen to sign Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney.

Tierney's move could cost around £30m, and he could be open to a move as he has experienced a frustrating season with the Gunners so far. He has only started in five league games.

He fell down the pecking order after Oleksandr Zinchenko’s arrival at the Emirates.

Eddie Howe has had to rely on natural centre-back Dan Burn at left-back for much of the campaign, and the need to sign a fullback is understood to be high on their priority list.
