Manchester United are expected to move for Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat before the end of the transfer window.
Amrabat, who was excellent for Morocco at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, has been linked with a host of top clubs as an exit from Fiorentina looms.
Man United to step up Amrabat chase
The fee being quoted is reportedly £30m and Manchester United will need to raise money from sales to enable them finance such expenditure.
Erik ten Hag’s priority at this moment in time is a striker, with United closing in on signing Atlanta’s Rasmus Højlund.
United value the 20-year-old at £60m and do not have to sell to complete the transfer but would need to do so if the manager pushes for Amrabat.
