Mount has only started 33% of possible games in the 2023/24 Premier League season for Manchester United after missing a number of games through injury.
The England international has already missed up to 37 days of action since the start of the season due to a hamstring problem, which is one more day than he missed in the whole of last season with Chelsea.
Mount suffers new injury problem
Mount recently returned from an injury layoff and was working his way back to fitness, but according to reports, the Manchester United midfielder is now set for more time on the sidelines after another injury setback.
According to The Athletic, the 24-year-old former Chelsea star will miss a reunion with his former side after suffering a calf injury that could see him miss an additional month of action, further frustrating Mount’s efforts to properly integrate with his new side.
