Maroons FC edged Express FC 1-0 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, on Friday, leaving the Uganda Premier League with no undefeated teams in the 2023/24 campaign.
The Red Eagles were the only unbeaten team left in Uganda’s top-tier division after six games, coming into Friday’s encounter.

UPL Arua Hill off the mark
On Friday, Arua Hill SC registered its first victory of the 2023/24 StarTimes Uganda Premier League campaign against UPDF FC in Adjumani.
The seven-time UPL champions will visit URA FC in Lugazi on 1st December for their next game, whereas Maroons will be at home against Mbarara City FC a day earlier.
