The result lifts Maroons to ninth on the 15 team log with 18 points, Busoga United remain rooted in 14th with only nine points.
Maroons head coach Muhammad Senfuma is not satisfied with his team's performance despite scrapping a 1-0 win over Busoga United in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match played in Njeru on Thursday.
Darius Ojok claimed the lone strike with just 18 minutes of regulation time left to gift the Luzira side a double over Busoga.
Busoga United had a better game generally with Laban Tibiita firing twice to beat the Warders' defence but Simon Tamale stopped him.
Edrine Opaala also curled two goal-bound corner kicks in the second half but Tamale stretched out to deal with them. The keeper was later on named the man of the match for his heroics.
"We were better in everything to win the game but unfortunately, the chance fell to them," Busoga United coach Michael Lukyamuzi said after the loss.
Senfuma, whose job had been offered to Sam Ssimbwa before the latter opted out, was happy with the win but not convinced with the overall output.
"The performance was good because we played like a team. However, I can not lie that we did everything right; we have some areas that could have cost us but we will work on them," he added.
