In the current season, he has not only singlehandedly snatched four points off 13-time champions KCCA FC but also netted against holders Vipers SC.

Overall, the forward has hit nine goals in the league and leads the top scorer's chart along with Express FC's Allan Kayiwa.
"I think he can win the golden boot because he works hard to do his job well, which is getting goals for the team," noted Ssenfuma.
"He is a senior player, works tirelessly hard and is never under pressure. If he keeps working hard, he'll be the top scorer."
Ssenfuma was then in total praise for the entire team for a point well earned against Vipers.
"The team worked hard and together against a title contender, and so, I am pleased for the point."
