Manchester United's loanee at Getafe, Mason Greenwood, pens a heartfelt message to fans of the Azulones after possibly his final game for them.
English forward Mason Greenwood has suggested his loan deal with Getafe will not be extended after he penned a farewell message to fans of the Azulones.
Greenwood played possibly his final game for the LALIGA team, where he featured in the 2-1 defeat to Mallorca. The defeat was inconsequential, however, as, thanks in part to the Red Devils loanee, Getafe had since sealed safety.

Greenwood's message
The celebration of the final game of the season for Getafe was tainted by a head injury to goalkeeper David Soria, which caused him to lose consciousness, warranting the intervention of an ambulance to take him to the hospital.
This featured in Greenwood's farewell speech as he tagged his last match as bitter-sweet. He thanked fans of Getafe for the experience and wished them success in future endeavours.
"Incredibly grateful to the Getafe family and fans for an amazing season. Thank you for making me feel welcomed and one of your own. I enjoyed every second, alongside my teammates and club. A bitter sweet ending, but it was a pleasure to play for you, I wish you all the best."
Greenwood had an impactful loan spell at Getafe. He scored 10 goals, and provided eight assists in 35 appearances for the Azulones.
Greenwood's goodbye message implies that he will not continue at Getafe beyond this season. However, it remains to be seen if he would be accepted back at Manchester United or if he would join one of his many suitors.
