After making changes to the technical bench, the shake up has now extended to the playing staff, with 11 players being deemed surplus to requirement and being shown the door.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Bandari’s quest to continue making wholesale changes to the side in efforts to make them a title-challenging side have continued.

The Mombasa-based side is continuing its quest to restructure and it has already confirmed the appointment of Douglas Mutua as its new team manager. The club is also set to appoint former Gor Mahia custodian Jerim Onyango as goalkeeping coach

After making changes to the technical bench, the shake up has now extended to the playing staff, with 11 players deemed surplus to requirement and being shown the door.

Chris Ochieng, Daglas Mokaya, Felix Ochieng, Keegan Ndemi, Ronny Otieno, Rodgers Aloro, Johanna Mwita and Hamid Mohamed are the players have now departed the club ahead of the new season.

In addition, Faraj Ominde, George Osama, Darius Msagha have also left the club following the expiry of their contracts.

The club are bringing in new recruits, and Pulse Sports Kenya has already reported that Nzoia Sugar’s  Hassan Beja  could be set to link up with the club.

The club is yet to appoint a new permanent head coach, and although veteran Twahir Muhidin has already publicly ruled himself out of the job on a permanent basis,  it should not be surprising if he gets appointed permanently after leading the side to some impressive run of form when he took charge at the beginning of May.
