Tusker defender Boniface "Kajos' Onyango has been put through his paces in full training as Brewers prepare for Sunday's clash against Gor Mahia.
The 23-year-old is still waiting for his first appearance in yellow and black since January, having undergone surgery on a knee injury.
Kajos has been absent for Tusker's last 21 games in all competitions, leaving Daniel Sakari to primarily shoulder the defense burden alongside Kevin Monyi, Levin Odhiambo.
Tusker has continuously refused to place a timeline on Kajo's recovery, but he was expected to spend around three months out of action in total, leading to hopes of a comeback at some point in May.
