The Brewers moved to the summit of the log with the victory over Wazito.
Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano was not fully satisfied with the performance his players displayed against Wazito FC despite winning 2-0 in a league encounter on Wednesday afternoon.
Although two first-half goals by Eric Otieno and Lawrence Luvanda were enough to see the side soar to the top of the table over title-challenging rivals Gor Mahia, Matano revealed that a couple of factors were the reason why the side did not play “like themselves”
“We scored some good goals but we did not play very well,” he said, “We were affected by fatigue owing to fixture congestion which prevented us from playing as we usually do,” he added.
The win over Wazito means the Brewers are now on a run of 11 games without defeat with Matano believing the team can keep the run going.

"We will continue. We did not know when we started that we would go on such a lengthy run. The win is good. We now have to keep that consistency.
"However, we have forgotten our previous games and we now have to focus on the coming games, which is what is important.”
