Mathare United fortifies its squad with seven new signings in a push for promotion to the Premier League.
National Super League side Mathare United has intensified its bid for promotion back to the Premier League by securing the signatures of seven talented players on short-term contracts until the end of the season.
This strategic move comes as Mathare United currently holds the second position on the NSL table with an impressive 36 points earned from 16 matches played this season.
The newly acquired talents, namely Donald Ange, Mohammed Kilume, Stephen Okola, Athman Ali, Boaz Maheri, Daniel Odhiambo, and Kevin Alloys, bring a wave of fresh optimism to the squad as they aim to climb back to the top tier of Kenyan football.

Omondi had been proving indispensable not just for KCB, but also for Harambee Stars in 2023, while Francis Kahiro and Apollo Otieno were also important for the side.
Among the seven recruits, Donald Ange stands out with his remarkable return to Mathare United for a second stint.
Previously, Ange left the club and joined Kariobangi Sharks, where he made a notable impact by scoring six crucial goals. Unfortunately, his season was marred by an injury that saw him sidelined for the latter part of the campaign.
However, Ange has come back with renewed determination and promptly made his presence felt by scoring a goal in the 2-0 victory over Silibwet Leons last weekend.
