Mato, who is returning to the club after the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) insists that KCCA is prepared to sacrifice and go all the way to clinch the title.
“As a team, we are very prepared for the second round of the season. We are working harder to get better and better, to learn from the mistake,” Mato on Wednesday.
“Last year was a little bit tough for us. We were in a similar season at this stage of the season, but we had challenges in there that affected us and I think we learned a lot from it.”
“But I can promise that this time around we are mentally and physically ready for the title fight and we cannot leave anything to chance,” he added.
Mato has been crucial to KCCA this season, contributing five goals so far, scoring thrice and assisting twice.
