Grealish settles GOAT debate
The 29-year-old has also weighed in on the debate about the greatest football player of all time.
During an interview with the Manchester City media team, Grealish was asked to pick his GOAT between Messi and Ronaldo, with the England international picking the Argentine.
According to All About Argentina on X, Grealish said, "The best player I've ever played against! Lionel Messi.
“For obvious reasons you know I played against him when he was at PSG and I was at Manchester City in my first season, so it was a pleasure just to be on the same pitch as him. Messi or Ronaldo? Messi."
The Englishman said he was glad to be on the same pitch as the Argentine star, whom he preferred above his Portuguese rival.
Both players have won multiple trophies and are among the best to have ever played the beautiful game.
