Inter Miami have reportedly placed Real Madrid's Nacho Fernandez at the top of their shopping list.
MLS side Inter Miami are reportedly keen on landing Real Madrid defender Nacho to bolster their defensive ranks following the injury to Argentine defender Nicolas Frieire, who hurt his ACL and is ruled out for the season.
Nacho is Real Madrid's captain; however, he has announced that he will end his 23-year association as a footballer with the club this summer to chase new challenges. Inter Miami are attentive to his situation and are said to be on the prowl.

Miami want Nacho
According to Spanish publication, Relevo, per Goal, the Miami-based club, are in the market for a high-profile defender to fix their gap in defence following Freire’s injury, and Nacho is seen as an ideal option.
According to the report, the Herons have the salary margin to complete the deal, and they have a variety of options through which they can sign him. They can sign him as a Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) player with a salary of $1.5 million.
Being available as a TAM player, they can also sign him as a Designated Player (DP) by buying down the contract of Leonardo Campana with the TAM allotment.
Nacho would become another ex-LALIGA player joining the MLS side, after the Barcelona quartet of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez. The player's family is also said to be open to a move to Major League Soccer.
