According to reports, Olise is close to a move to Bundesliga side Bayern Munich after rejecting a new contract from Crystal Palace.
Olise’s proposed salary
Following his stellar 2023–2024 season, the Crystal Palace number 7 became a high demand with Manchester United, Manchester City, and Newcastle United interested in signing him.
However, David Ornstein claims that the France U21 international has decided to join German record-breakers Bayern Munich and that a deal is almost finalised.
After choosing to join Bayern Munich, Olise is expected to receive a significant pay boost, according to Christian Falk, Head of Football Sport Bild.
Falk shared a tweet on X explaining Oliseh’s proposed salary. He claimed that Bayern is in concrete transfer talks with Michael Olise. The player wants Bayern but has a release clause of £55 million and wants a salary expectation of £ 220 000 a week.
The winger is anticipated to receive a salary of £220,000 a week, or £11,440,000 annually (or roughly N21.5 billion in Nigerian currency).
Olise has a £55 million release clause in his new contract that he signed with Palace last summer.
