Former Gor Mahia pair of John Ochieng’ and Dennis Ng’ang’a started for Zanaco FC but could not help them get their first win of 2024 as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Forest Rangers in a Zambian Super League clash that took place on Saturday.
Erick Chomba put Forest into the lead in the 28nd minute with a deftly-taken strike into the back of the net, giving them the lead into the break.
Zanaco did however restore parity in the 58th minute through Chawanangwa Kaongwa after they had sustained pressure to fight back right after the break.
