The gaffer says all the teams can still win the league title as football is unpredictable.

Bandari FC head coach Anthony Modo Kimani has shot down all those who have written off his team regarding the challenge of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) title.

The Dockers are in seventh position on the log with 35 points, 14 points adrift of table leaders Gor Mahia with nine matches remaining to the end of the season.

But Kimani says they can still finish top if his team continues to pick points both at home and on the road.

“No team has been declared as league champions yet, all the teams are fighting for the title, and we are also there. We have not thrown in the towel.

It is a long and tedious journey, and everyone who has been around for a long time will tell you that there is nothing impossible in football.

We will continue fighting hard to be in the top places on the table and fulfill our dream of winning the title,” he said.

Bandari claimed maximum points in their last outing when they beat Bidco United 1-0 at the weekend.

Ugandan defender Rodgers Aloro won the maximum points for Bandari in the game against the Thika-based side.

The Dockers are scheduled to face Nairobi City Stars on Wednesday at the Mbaraki Sports Club in their next game, and Kimani expects a thrilling encounter.

“I anticipate a tough game because of congested April fixtures, and that has been a challenge to teams that have a lean squad due to fatigue that sometimes takes a toll on the players and affects their performances,” he added.

Last season, Bandari finished at a respectable fourth position after registering good results towards the end of the league.
