Bajaber was a part of Starfield Academy in Parklands. In August 2021 it was reported that he attended trials at Danish top tier side FC Midtjylland. That remains one of the most exciting developments in his career since the club is one of the best football clubs in Jutland.
In February 2022 he joined Nairobi City Stars on a short-term loan deal from Starfield Academy to the end of the season after spending weeks training with the club. He earned his Premier League debut on May 15, 2022 in Ruaraka against Tusker, and earned his first start in Thika against AFC Leopards on June 6, 2022.
He scored his maiden premiership goal against Wazito F.C. on March 16, 2023. He scored another six goals for Nairobi City Stars in the 2023-24 FKF Premier League season. Bajaber scored four times for City Stars in the first leg of the 2024-25 season which earned him a move to Kenya Police FC in February 2025.
His time at Nairobi City Stars was nothing short of a success as he was able to make 63 appearances and scored 11 goals, a good arc from an unknown to a key player.

Mohammed Bajaber made his Harambee Stars debut in a friendly match for Kenya against Burkina Faso on January 4, 2025, where they drew 1-1. However, Bajaber was benched throughout the entire game.
Bajaber would later earn another call-up on January 7, 2025 for the Mapinduzi Cup against Tanzania in Zanzibar where he was also benched as Harambee Stars won 2-0.
He was part of the travelling squad to Harambee Stars’ match against Gambia at the Alassane Ouattara stadium in Abidjan. Bajaber was a second-half substitute and managed to prove a point, scoring an equalizer in the 75th minute as the Michael Olunga-captained side drew 3-3.
He was also part of the starting 11 in the Harambee Stars match against Gabon for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at the Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi. The Stars lost 2-1 against the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang-inspired Gabon.
