Moses Daddy-Ajala Simon is a 27-year-old professional footballer who plays for French Ligue 1 club, Nantes and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
He was born in Jos, Nigeria, on July 12, 1995, to Nigerian parents including his father who served in the Army.
Simon is a product of the famed GBS Academy, the same football academy in Nigeria that produced the likes of Ahmed Musa.
He started to draw attention from top European clubs as a teenager and was signed by Ajax in the summer of 2013, beating off competition from the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham.
However, Simon left for Slovakia a few months later, joining AS Trencin having only played for the Ajax reserve team.
One year later again, the exciting winger was on the move, this time to Belgium, joining KAA Gent on a three-year deal.
He would later go on to play for Levante in the Spanish La Liga and then Nantes where he still plays in the French Ligue 1.

Simon started his career at GBS Academy - a football academy based in Jos. He was linked to a number of top clubs before signing a pre-contract agreement for Dutch club, Ajax.
While there, Simon made his debut in a pre-season game against De Graafschap in July 2013 and also scored the final goal in the 3-0 win.
After pre-season, the youngster was utilised more by the Ajax reserves and would not play a single game for the first team till he left the club in January 2014.
The Nigerian winger signed a three-year contract with Slovakian side, AS Trencin and instantly became a key player with seven goals in 14 games to end the 2013/14 season and then scored 10 goals in 25 games in the first half of the following season before moving to KAA Gent in Belgium.
Gent paid a mere €800,000 to sign Moses on January 6, 2015, and their investment was instantly rewarded as the Nigerian forward scored six goals in nine games in the second half of the 2014/15 season to win the Belgian Pro League title for the first time in their history.
His contribution was immense, also providing an assist in the 2015 Belgian Super Cup which Gent won as well.
Moses had a successful time in Belgium, spanning three and a half seasons, scoring 21 goals and assisting 18 in 136 games for Gent after which he joined Levante in 2018 for €3.5 million.
His time in La Liga with Levante only lasted the 2018/19 season with game time difficult to come by and was loaned out to Nantes the next season.
Simon impressed in France which led to Nantes triggering his €5 million option to make the move permanent in 2020.
He signed a four-year contract which runs until the summer of 2024 and has so far played 146 games for the club, with 26 goals and assists each.

Moses Simon Super Eagles Career
Moses Simon made 5 appearances for the U20 Nigerian team. However, he got his first senior call-up from Daniel Amokachi, who was in interim charge of the Super Eagles in 2015.
He made his debut in March 2015 in a friendly game against Uganda. His first goal came in November of the same year, scoring in a 2-0 win against Niger.
Moses Simon could not make the final team for the 2018 World Cup due to injury but has since bounced back to become a regular for the team.
