Super Eagles ace warned his teammates to remain focused against Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce ahead of the second-leg of their Europa League clash at Ibrox.
Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has warned his Rangers teammate to keep their eye on the ball and see the Europa League round-of-16 tie against Fenerbahce across the line.
The Gers have a 3-1 advantage from the first leg, and with the second leg this Thursday on their home turf in Ibrox, they are odds-on favourites to advance to the next round.

‘He’s a very special character’ - Snubbed Super Eagles star hails Mourinho ahead of UEL clash
Ahead of Rangers' UEFA Europa League Round of 16 first-leg match in Istanbul on Thursday, Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has praised Fenerbahce manager José Mourinho.
However, veteran defender Balogun, who replaced the injured Robbin Propper in the 28th minute of the first-leg, and was near-impeccable for the rest of the contest, warned his teammates not to count their chickens before they hatch.

What Balogun said
Barry Ferguson's side have two significant games this week, the second-leg clash against Fenerbahce and a Glasgow derby at Celtic Park. The Nigerian said he is focused on the first against the Turks, as he believes the contest is far from over.
“It’s a big week with two perfect fixtures,” Balogun said, per the Daily Record. “Obviously, Fenerbahce is first up, and we had a very good result over there, but we’re going against the Special One with some very good players, and I think it’s far from over.
“I can only speak for myself, but it really is like that (one game at a time). I don’t think about the weekend so much. Obviously, it is there, but those games are always big.”

“Right now, the main focus is getting through to the next round in Europe; therefore, we have to focus on Fenerbahce. I’m sorry to be boring!”
The former Brighton defender reiterated that he is wary of Fenerbahce, given the reputation of their manager in cup matches like this, cautioning that the Portuguese is capable of overturning the result as it is.
“It was a really good result and performance. But like I said, this is Mourinho, and I’m sure he will have a few tricks up his sleeve.”
“He wouldn’t have been happy at all after the tie over there, but I think there’s a lot of confidence for us to take, and we can probably up our game in terms of on the ball.”
Rangers did not play in the league last weekend, so their players will be refreshed going into the match on Thursday. With Balogun's impervious showing after coming on for Propper last week, it remains to be seen whether the Nigerian will be given the nod to start at Ibrox.
