MUBS will play all their three pending games on Sunday
Makerere University Business School will aim to close the gap with the title-chasers with pending games as the Uganda Beach Soccer League nears the half-season break
The three-time champions have played six games, three behind schedule and are lined up to clear the table on Sunday in the ninth outing at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
They will face Buganda Royals in the opening game at noon before facing Jinja Lions and MS Sand Lions later in the evening.
MUBS and Buganda Royals have both accumulated 12 points but the Nakawa students are ahead in 4th place thanks to their better goal difference.
In Jinja Lions, they’ll be facing a team ranked a place above them who have four more points, while their final opponent of the day are 8th with only six points.
In the other games, Jinja Lions will play their namesake Sand Lions in their second match.
St. Lawrence leads the table with 25 points from nine games, Mutoola follows with 18 ahead of Jinja Lions and MUBS.
