Reports suggest Muhiddin's change of heart as he eyes a return to the helm of Bandari and plans to bring in high-profile assistant coach Salim Babu.

Bandari's outgoing interim coach Twahir Muhiddin has highlighted the crucial areas that the team needs to address in preparation for the upcoming season.

Muhiddin, who recently stepped down from his position, returned to his role as the club's technical director but has now shown a change of heart, with rumors suggesting he might take over as the permanent head coach.

In an interview, the veteran gaffer emphasized the need to strengthen the midfield, expressing the necessity for players who can make swift decisions in the shortest time possible.

"We need to polish the midfield as in that department we need to have players who can make quick decisions and distribute the ball faster," he said.

Furthermore, Muhiddin emphasized the necessity of acquiring a skilled striker who can efficiently convert chances into goals.

"We need one good striker who can convert one of three chances he gets," he added.

Muhiddin's astute analysis highlights the critical aspects that can potentially transform Bandari into a formidable force.

Although he returned to his previous role as the club's technical director at the end of the season, rumors have emerged that he may be persuaded to assume the role of permanent head coach at Bandari.

Initially reluctant to take on the position, recent reports indicate that Muhiddin has had a change of heart, potentially paving the way for an exciting chapter in the club's history.

The Dockers are actively searching for a high-profile assistant coach to augment their coaching staff, with Salim Babu from Nzoia Sugar FC emerging as their primary target.

Muhiddin brings a wealth of experience to the table, having served as Bandari's coach in three separate stints.

His familiarity with the team and his understanding of their strengths and weaknesses can prove invaluable in driving the club forward.

In the recently concluded 2022/2023 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season, Bandari finished in sixth place, trailing eventual champions Gor Mahia by 10 points.
