In a significant development, the Magistrate Court of Kenya at Murang'a issued temporary injunctions in favor of the Murang'a Seals Football Club in its legal dispute against the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
The case, identified as MCCC/E040/2024, was brought forward by Wilfred Mokaya Marori, challenging actions taken by FKF and Barry Otieno, ahead of the federation's Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Honourable M. E. Analo, in a ruling delivered on March 15, 2024, underscored the urgency of the matter. The court directed the applicant to serve the application upon the respondents and scheduled an inter-parties hearing for March 21, 2024.
However, pending the full hearing, the court issued temporary injunctions to maintain the status quo and prevent interference in the affairs of the Murang'a Seals Football Club.

Moreover, the court's decision included an order compelling the Nairobi Police County Commander to ensure compliance with the interim orders mentioned above, highlighting the seriousness of the situation and the court's commitment to upholding its decisions.
