KCB missed Vincent Onyala, Festus Shiasi and Samuel Asati but still tossed Strathmore aside.
KCB captain Griffin Musila has waxed lyrical of the quality of the side’s depth after they whitewashed Strathmore Leos 36-11 in a pulsating match at the KCB Sports Club, Ruaraka, on Saturday.
Tries from Peter Kilonzo, winger Austin Sikutwa and captain Griffin Musila gave KCB a comfortable 17-0 win against their opponents at the interval as the away side struggled to break the solid backline.
In the second half, the Curtis Olago-led charges scored a penalty try before Kolian Persinan’s try that took the match away from Leos reach. Brian Wahinya scored KCB’s last try of the game to hand the bankers another routine win in the Kenya Cup.
