Uganda Cranes left-back Mustafa Kizza has reportedly returned to Portuguese topflight outfit FC Arouca.
Less than a year since the club terminated his contract, the former KCCA FC ace has returned on a two-year employment contract.
Kizza will play in the same league with some of Europe's biggest teams, including Benfica, Sporting CP, FC Porto, and Braga.
Kizza, a product of KCCA's Academy, joined the latter as a teenager in 2015 and played for the development side until 2016.
He then joined Maroons FC on loan at the beginning of the 2016-17 season and later returned to KCCA FC in January 2017 and played for the senior team for a period of three and a half years.
In July 2020, KCCA agreed with Montreal Impact, a Canadian professional soccer team based in Montreal, Quebec, to transfer the full-back.
Kizza later left Montreal Impact in 2021 and joined Arouca for the 2022/23 season in the Primeira Liga, Portugal, a spell cut midway through that campaign.
He then returned to KCCA for the remainder of last season, a short stint marred by injuries.
Meanwhile, Arouca, promoted to the Portuguese topflight last season, currently sits fifth in Liga Portugal with four points after two games.
