Asaph Mwebaze has confirmed leaving Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars FC via his Twitter page.
Last week, Bright Stars and Mwebaze parted ways, cutting short his three-year contract with the Kavumba-based outfit.
However, the tactician said the club verbally fired him through its chairman Grace Kwizera and was waiting for an official dismissal from the head coach position.

Bright Starts finished ninth in the Startimes Uganda Premier League after winning nine games, drawing eight to garner 35 points.
Until Thursday, there is no official confirmation from the club, but the former Onduparaka FC manager is out and looking forward to a new chapter.
"It was such a pleasure to return to the Uganda Premier League with Bright Stars FC," Mwebaze posted on Twitter on Friday afternoon.
"We had a good season, and the time has come to part. Next chapter," Mwebaze added.
He was appointed Bright Stars' head coach at the start of the 2022/2023 campaign and guided the Stars to a ninth-place finish on the 15-team UPL log.
