Victor Osimhen has left his future in the hands of Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis. The Super Eagles striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.
Victor Osimhen has opened the lid regarding his popularized future with Serie A champions Napoli.
The Nigerian international finished the season as topscorer with 26 goals plus five in the Champions League.
There has been speculation about where the Super Eagles striker will be playing next season with several top European clubs showing keen interest.
The 24-year-old has always expressed his desire to play in the English Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea leading the race for the lanky forward.
What Osimhen said
Speaking after Napoli's last game of the season against Sampdoria, Osimhen told DAZN that his future lies in the hands of Aurelio De Laurentiis, president of the club.
He said:
“I don’t know, the President has to decide that. I love the people of Napoli, they have shown me so much love. For me, I don’t mind, the President decides and I will just go with the flow.”
Osimhen was named the Italian league’s topscorer while his Napoli teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia the most valuable player in Serie A.
