The Netherlands international enjoyed an outstanding season the previous year, helping Pep Guardiola's team to a resounding treble victory, taking home the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Champions League.

Premier League legend and former Man City star David Silva has called an end to his football career at the age of 37.
The Blues have rewarded his performance and commitment to the club with a new contract.
He has officially signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Etihad until 2027 with a weekly pay of £160,000 a week.
