Speaking on his transition, the newly unveiled Tax Collector expressed his delight and enthusiasm about the move, viewing it as an enormous step in his career.
“This is a very big move for me because such a move can also help you grow as a player,” he said.
Wamannah came through the ranks at KCCA FC before crossing to Proline and later on to UPDF FC.
At UPDF, the midfielder went on to wear the captain’s armband but parted ways with the club at the expiry of his two-year deal.

Otim, a good shot-stopper who can also play with his feet to facilitate playing out from the back, will only be one of the several signings at the club.
“Of course, I have had so many experiences as a player at KCCA, Proline and UPDF. URA will also be a different experience, and I know it will push me to go to the next level,
“As a player, you always have to work hard to impress irrespective of any situation you are in.”
The midfielder will be looking to help the club win, and that starts with getting into the starting lineup, something he says is ready to fight for.

Ojera joined the Rwandan side on loan from URA FC last season. However, the club decided to make his move permanent, but the winger asked for Ugx 76M for his signature, which led to the club starting a fundraising drive on the 18th of July.

URA has already unveiled Moses Aliro, Denis Luzige Kisiriko, John Innocent Kisolo, Amis Bwangani and Godfrey Sekibengo ahead of the new season, with more signings said to be in the pipeline.
And having won 10 games, drawn 12 and lost six to finish fifth with 42 points last season, URA will be going all out for the title.
They were 11 points behind title winners Vipers SC and will be hoping to close that gap in the coming season.
