Chelsea's new forward Nicolas Jackson has now scored in back-to-back matches for the Blues and contributed four goals in three matches to draw comparisons with Erling Haaland and Drogba.
Chelsea’s new signing Nicolas Jackson has warmed his way into the hearts of the club’s fans after they called out Manchester City star Erling Haaland and likened him to club legend Didier Drogba after another impressive outing.
Jackson made another goalscoring appearance as the Blues drew 1-1 with fellow Premier League side Newcastle United in a pre-season friendly on Thursday morning.
The former Villarreal striker opened the scoring against the Magpies in what was his third appearance for the Blues.

Premier League rivals Chelsea and Newcastle United shared the spoils in a lively friendly in Atlanta.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men failed to win for the first time under his guidance after Almiron saved Newcastle United’s blushes.
Jackson gave Chelsea a deserved 12th-minute lead but the Blues failed to hold on as Newcastle levelled up heading into the break.
Neither side was able to add to the scoreline in a cagey second half affair, with a share of the spoils a fair reflection of the game.
Jackson’s form for Chelsea
The youngster seems to have settled in nicely following his transfer from LALIGA side Villarreal in the summer.
Chelsea paid £35 million to prise the Senegalese forward away from the Yellow Submarine where he spent two seasons.
He has now made three appearances for the club, with two goals and two assists to his name which has left Chelsea fans impressed.
Chelsea compare Jackson to Haaland, Drogba
Jackson opened the scoring against Newcastle following an impressive move from the Blues.
The young forward kept his composure to slot past the Newcastle goalkeeper.
Chelsea fans enjoyed that goal and took to social media to express their feelings, with Man City's Haaland not spared while the new star was also seen as the new Drogba.
