NEC FC, who were using the Coffee grounds in Bugolobi as their home during the FUFA Big League season, is now set to move to the MTN Omondi stadium since the Coffee grounds can't meet the FUFA club licensing requirements.
Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side National Enterprise Corperation (NEC) FC has secured another home ground ahead of next season, Pulse Sports can confirm.
NEC FC, who were using the Coffee grounds in Bugolobi as their home during the FUFA Big League season, is now set to move to the MTN Omondi stadium since the Coffee grounds can't meet the FUFA club licensing requirements.
Pulse Sports can reliably confirm that NEC FC club officials met KCCA FC club administrator Moses Kaddu on Tuesday evening, and both parties agreed to the decision pending a financial commitment from the Bugolobi-based side.
As per last season, only KCCA FC from the top flight used their home grounds for the season; NEC FC will become the second club next season to play at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
Michael Lukyamuzi's side gained promotion on the first time of asking, finishing on the season's final day with a 4-1 win over Kataka FC at the Mbale Municipal stadium on 18th May to finish third on 57 points after 30 games played.

Newly promoted side NEC FC are making huge preparations ahead of their first Uganda Premier League season, which is about three months away.
Kitara FC, the FUFA big-league champions and Mbarara City FC are the other teams that gained promotion back to the top flight.
This will be the second time Kitara FC and Mbarara City FC play in the top flight; Kitara featured in the 2019/2020 season but was relegated, while the Ankole Lions featured for four seasons in the top flight.
They gained promotion in 2017 and were relegated in the 2021/22 campaign. However, the StarTimes Uganda Premier League is tentatively set to return in September 2023.
