Brazilian forward Neymar could be set to make a final PSG decision depending on how the club's negotiations with manager Luis Enrique go
Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar could be set to stay at the club in a dramatic U-turn if the signing of manager Luis Enrique is confirmed.
Neymar considers PSG U-turn after initially deciding to leave
Neymar had been rumoured to be strongly considering an exit from PSG despite having two years left on his current contract after facing backlash from the club’s Ultras as well as watching close friend Lionel Messi leave the club.
The Brazilian was believed to be considering his options, with a move to the Premier League being his best chance for leaving PSG after a tumultuous six-year spell at PSG so far.
Neymar had reportedly been offered to both Manchester clubs, as well as Chelsea as his desperation to leave France soared, but that episode in his career could be over if PSG complete the signing of Luis Enrique.
Neymar looking to team up with Luis Enrique after Barcelona success
The former Barcelona manager is believed to be inches away from replacing under-fire PSG coach Christophe Galtier, who is already on the chopping block and just awaiting his successor‘s announcement.
According to reports from L’Equipe, this decision could prove vital in keeping Neymar at the club, as the Brazilian would be willing to continue at PSG under the management of a familiar coach whom he admires.
Neymar and Luis Enrique were together at Barcelona from 2014 to 2017, winning the UEFA Champions League as part of a European treble in 2015, and the Brazilian could be tempted to stay if he gets the opportunity to do it all again with the Spanish coach at PSG.
Luis Enrique presided over the famous MSN trio that included Neymar, Messi and Luis Suarez and PSG will be hoping that he can get the best out of the Brazilian again helping him to form a partnership as deadly as MSN with French superstar Kylian Mbappe.
