St. Lawrence won their fourth title in a row and fifth overall.

St. Lawrence University continued its dominance in the FUFA Beach Soccer League after merging champions of the 2022/23 season to add their fifth trophy.

SLAU, as they’re commonly referred to, lost only one game in the regular season to emerge the best with 43 points, seven ahead of Mutoola.

They thrashed MS Sand Lions 8-1 in the first semifinal before setting up a date against Jinja Lions in the final.

The Jinja side had to rely on the proficiency of their red-hot striker Nicholas Mwere to overcome a stubborn Mutoola in the other semi.

Brian Nkuubi, Ronald Magwali and Baker Lukooya scored for the university side to reduce Herbert Onyango and Shaka Ssozi’s goals to mere consolations.

Mutoola beat Sand Lions 2-1 to finish third on the table this season.
