MUBS won the Uganda Beach Soccer League in 2013 and 2017 but has now gone under.
The Jinja side had to rely on the proficiency of their red-hot striker Nicholas Mwere to overcome a stubborn Mutoola in the other semi.
Brian Nkuubi, Ronald Magwali and Baker Lukooya scored for the university side to reduce Herbert Onyango and Shaka Ssozi’s goals to mere consolations.
