The game will be broadcast on several platforms, starting with FUFA TV, the local football governing body’s owned television network.
South African leading pay TV, DSTV, have also confirmed telecasting the game on channel 229 in Uganda, which sometimes comes with analysis broadcast from Johannesburg.
League title sponsors StarTimes have also advertised the game, alongside a host of other fixtures on the day, with subscribers able to watch the game on two bouquets and the app.
Surprisingly, the national broadcaster UBC Television will not be able to telecast the game; there will also be several links on different sites online.
The Uganda Cranes sit third in Group F with four points and must win their final AFCON 2023 qualifier against Niger on Thursday as they hope that Algeria beat Tanzania.
The qualification will earn the Cranes an 8th AFCON ticket in the nation’s history and their first since 2019 in Cairo, Egypt.
