The Flying Eagles will be going into the quarter final fixture against Korea with confidence after dispatching hosts Argentina in the round of 16. However, Ladan Bosso's men should watch out for these things.

The Flying Eagles are brimming in confidence following their 2-0 win over Argentina in the round of 16 at the FIFA U20 World Cup.

Ladan Bosso’s men will face Korea in the last eight knowing full well that a place in the semis is up for grabs for the Nigerian U20 side.

The Korean team are no push over in the tournament following the progression from Group F with one win and two draws to finish behind Gambia.

Here are 3 things the Flying Eagles side need to do to be Korea

1. They should be mentally ready

The Korean side are a compact side who play more like a team than individuality and it will be difficult to pin-point a player to man mark the way we did for Argentina.

Their 2-3 last 16 win over Ecuador proved that the Asians are a hard nut to crack when it comes to penetrating.

The skillful players in the Nigerian side should be able to cut open their stubborn resistance while the show of strength will also be an advantage.

2. Nigeria should watch out for counter attacks

Korea are a team that usually sit back to catch their opponents on the counter attack which has worked for them at the tournament.

They are known for the mass attack, mass defence style of play, using and their quickness on decision making gives them the edge.

The Flying Eagles should be able to curtail the movement by shutting down the player who wants to deliver the decisive pass.

3. Ladan Boss should stick to the winning side

The Nigerian coach should feature an unchanged side that played against Argentina to help build on the confidence.

The likes of Riliwanu Sarki and Emmanuel Umeh who made an instant impact against Argentina could also play a cameo role in the match with Korea.
