The organizers of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) have announced that the NWFL Premiership Super Six has been postponed.
Pulse Sports reports that Asaba, Delta State, will host the 2022–2023 NWFL Premiership Super Six, and the title playoff competition is slated for May 5–12, 2023.

Nasarawa Amazons, Robo Queens and Bayelsa Queens were the biggest hitters on the final day of the regular season in the NWFL.
The six participating clubs are Delta Queens, Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Confluence Queens, Robo Queens, and Edo Queens.
Super Six Postponed Over WAFU U-20 Girls Championship
The NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, confirmed the postponement in a statement issued on Tuesday.
She said the new date for the Super 6 competition will be decided after the upcoming maiden WAFU-B U20 Women’s Cup in Ghana, held from May 20 to June 3 in Kumasi.
Nigeria's U-20 girls are paired in group B with Niger Republic, Burkina Faso and Togo, while hosts, Ghana will slug it out with Benin Republic and Cote d'Ivoire in group A.
The Falconets, the most successful U-20 women's team in Africa, will begin their campaign against the Niger Republic on May 21 at the Baba Yara Stadium before facing Togo on May 24 and Burkina Faso on May 23 in their final group match.
Danjuma Calls 30 Players to Camp
Danjuma's invited players included some players from his FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup quarterfinalists in Costa Rica as well as some from the bronze medal-winning Flamingos from the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India, alongside a couple of new faces.
The list comprises players that are plying their trade in the Nigeria Women's League (NWFL).
Goalkeeper Faith Omilana, defenders Blessing Sunday and Miracle Usani, midfielders Esther Onyenezide and Taiwo Afolabi, and forwards Opeyemi Ajakaye and Flourish Sebastine are standout names in the pack.

The NFF led by Ibrahim Musa Gusau have promised new boards within one month for the various Nigerian leagues including, the NNL, the NWFL, and the NLO.
Invited players are expected to arrive at the Serob Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, on Sunday, April 30.
