Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has joined legend Vincent Enyeama to find favour in the eyes of Nigerians.
A Nigerian football fan has playfully suggested that only goalkeepers with Vincent Enyeama and Stanley Nwabali’s distinctive head shapes should play for the Super Eagles.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that the football fan made this comment moments after Nwabali helped Nigeria defeat Angola 1-0 in the quarterfinal of the AFCON 2023 on Friday.

Ademola Lookman was the hero again at the AFCON 2023 for Nigeria Super Eagles against Angola.
Nwabali and Enyeama compared
Chippa United shut-stopper Nwabali proved his place as the undisputed number in Cote d’Ivoire after another inspired display for Nigeria at the AFCON.
The 27-year-old produced a solid performance to play a pivotal role in as Ademola Lookman netted the decisive strike to send the Super Eagles through to the semifinals of the AFCON.
Following his latest display, the former Wikki Tourist is proving to be an adequate answer to former skipper and Nigerian legend, Enyeama.
After the game against the Palancas Negras, a fan took to social media to share an interesting insight into the Super Eagles goalkeeping department.
“For generations to come, only those with this particular head shape should be allowed to become Super Eagles goalkeepers,” he posted on X.com.
The post humorously implies their similar skull shape is the secret behind Enyeama and Nwabali's goalkeeping heroics for the Super Eagles.
It comically calls for all future Nigeria keepers to have the same 'Enyeama-Nwabali head' that has brought success for both players in between the sticks.
The lighthearted tweet underlines how fans are celebrating Nwabali emulating his legendary Nigerian shut-stopper Enyeama with his performances at AFCON 2023.
