The Round of 64 of this year's edition of the Federation Cup coincides with the initial resumption of the NNL, scheduled for Wednesday, April 26.
The Nigeria National League (NNL) have adjusted the resumption date of the second half of the 2023 season by three days, following the involvement of 23 second-division clubs in the 2023 Federation Cup.
The official kick-off of this year's edition of Nigeria's Cup competition will see 64 qualified teams play the Round of 64 on Wednesday, April 26.

NPFL champions Rivers United will go head-to-head with eight-time champions Enyimba in the Federation Cup as national finals begin.
NNL to resume April 28
With this, all division two fixtures originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 26 has now been pushed by the NNL governing body to the weekend of Friday, April, 28, running through Sunday, April 30.
More adjustments are due to also be made to upcoming fixtures according to the dictates of the situation as it affects the Federation Cup.
According to the NNL, clubs are to note that the league is still focused on ending the season on May 20, 2023, as earlier scheduled.
