Following an action by the club's general manager Mr Ekene Adams, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) had deducted 3 points, and 3 goals from Remo Stars, and fined them the sum of N1.25 million.
Match officials of the week 12 NPFL game between Remo Stars and Gombe United, had accused Remo Stars of attacking them at half-time, leading to the referees abandoning the fixture.
The fixture had been played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on April 3rd.

"Remo Stars can confirm it has appealed the decision of the Interim Management Committee," the club said in a statement on Friday.
"As a club, Remo Stars will continue to act according to the rules of the game and uphold the integrity of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL and the country's football as a whole."
At the moment, the Ikenne club are in 5th place in Group A and could jump to 2nd when their points get added. They would play Akwa United in week 16 of the 2023 season.
