Doma United's head coach Akinade Onigbinde has insisted that his side stands a good chance of securing one of six qualification slots that would put them in the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Super 6 playoff.
Despite making their debut in the elite division for the first time in their club's history, Doma United have surpassed expectations and are in contention for qualification to the playoff which would hold at the end of the season.

Onigbinde says Doma United must move past Rangers draw
Following a home draw with Rangers on Sunday, the Gombe-based club are 3rd in Group B of the 2023 NPFL season with a week left, and are just four points off the top of the table with an outstanding game against Rivers United.
Reacting to his side's home draw with Rangers on Sunday, Onigbinde stated that there was no need to give up, and they would fight to the end.
“It's not the result we wanted but there's nothing we can do about it now that the game is over," the Doma United boss said.
"But we're not giving up yet until it's over. The only thing now is that we have to work harder than expected,” he added.
