Enugu Rangers are going through it in the NPFL after dropping more points at the weekend in the football league.
The manager of Enugu Rangers, Abdul Maikaba is not a happy man at the moment after his team dropped further points in the NPFL.
The Flying Antelopes were tamed at home by their visitors Lobi Stars following a 1-1 draw at the Awka City Stadium on Sunday.
Elijah Ani gave Lobi the headstart when he fired them in front on the hour mark before the reliable Godwin Obaje rescued a point with an equaliser 18 minutes from time.
Maikaba rues Rangers missed chances
Following the latest result, the Antelopes made it two consecutive games in the league without a win.
The latest setback for the 2016 champions did not go down well with their coach, Maikaba, who was furious to see his team miss so many chances against the Benue side.
Speaking on his side's performance, the former Akwa United boss noted that the Antelopes only have themselves to blame after forcing a share of the spoils at home.
"We have to blame ourselves for this result," Maikaba told the club media. "In a game, we created over ten goalscoring opportunities but scored only one while the opponent created one and scored from it."
Antelopes working on NPFL problems
The coal city boys have managed just eight goals in 12 matches in the NPFL, an average of just over 0.66 goals per game this season.
According to the experienced coach, it is a problem his team is trying to fix and will continue to fight.
"It is our problem," Maikaba added. "But we are working seriously to see that we rectify all these issues."
"We can continue to fight from this result and improve in the coming games to ensure that we move up the log."
