Rivers Angels are through to the Super Six but are looking to finish the regular season on a high against Ekiti Queens.
As the Nigerian Women's Football League (NWFL) regular season draws to a close, seven-time champions Rivers Angels are set to face off against Ekiti Queens in a seemingly dead-rubber encounter.
The match, scheduled to take place on Wednesday evening at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ekiti State, will see the league giants from Port Harcourt take on a team that has already been relegated from the competition.

Rivers Angels vs Ekiti Queens
Despite the apparent mismatch, Rivers Angels are not taking the game lightly. In a social media post, the club declared their intention to go for goals against their hosts.
"Final push of the #NWFL24 regular season. We go for goals against Ekiti Queens," the Angels stated on their official account.
The Angels, who have already secured their spot in the season-ending Super Six tournament, will be looking to end the regular campaign on a high note.
With four teams already qualified for the title decider, Rivers Angels are the only team from Group B to have a guaranteed place in the final stage.
However, the match may not be as straightforward as it seems, as the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium is reported to have a muddy playing surface.
Pulse Sports Nigeria can report that according to pictures from the venue of the game, Rivers Angels could face a challenge on the visibly poor playing surface..
Nonetheless, the multiple NWFL champions are renowned for their resilience and determination and will be eager to maintain their impressive form as they set their sights on yet another league title.
